An outdoor lighting system maintenance visit consists of three parts: cleaning, testing and adjustments.

Natural finishes should be cleaned periodically to ensure an even patina, remove stains from salt, hard-water and acid rain as well as to maintain the beauty of the fixture itself.

The lenses of the fixtures (the glass shield for the lamp) can get muddied and clouded with hard-water stains and they make great insect homes, so it is important to clean them once a year. Doing this will ensure your fixtures maintain maximum light output and stay looking great year after year.
